Api - Latin for bee, the most industrious and innovative creatures we know Motive - is motion and movement and also for automotive. Apimotive is Innovation in Motion We love bees and see them struggle with to adapt to today’s changing climate and other external pressures. We are using our engineering experience to come up with innovative solutions to hive management and overall bee welfare.

Mike Mitchell

Managing Partner, Apimotive LLC
Mike had more than 35 years experience in complete vehicle design from supercars to commercial trucks. Mike is a design engineer, specializing in Body-In-White. He has extensive experience with APQP, FMEA, Six-Sigma (Greenbelt) and Engineeing Management. Following in his father's footsteps, he is an avid beekeeper. Mike hails from Edinburgh, Scotland

Kim Kauth

Managing Partner, Apimotive LLC
Kim has over 35 years experience in the automotive industry, specifically powertrain design and development, chassis and interior trim. She has experience with APQP, FMEA, Six-Sigma (Greenbelt) and Program Management. Kim has been keeping bees for 8 years ago and maintains a deep fascination with these amazing creatures.
